Exceptional Education at the Heart of the Community

Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Oasis Academy Ryelands

It is a privilege to welcome you to our website and give you a flavour of our inclusive school.

We feel extremely proud to be the Executive Principal and Head of School at this rapidly improving school which is now Ofsted rated Good with Outstanding features for leadership and management and personal development and behaviour. Our academy is a caring, thriving place which truly lives up to our I CARE Vision of Inclusion, Community, Aspiration, Resilience and Enjoyment.

We are at the heart of our community and care about the provision we offer all our pupils. From Nursery to Year 6, each child has the benefit of staff dedicated to encouraging them along the journey of learning and discovery, within the security of a caring atmosphere where all staff in partnership with parents and carers work together. Our link with parents and carers is fundamental. We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website where we have tried to include as much information as possible. If there is any information that you are unable to find or you would like to visit the Academy please contact the Academy Office directly on 0208 656 4165 or email

Oasis Academy Ryelands is a happy, calm and friendly community school where the success of every child really matters.

Thank you for visiting our website and we look forward to welcoming you soon.

Welcome from our Head Pupils

My name is Ramiah, and I am the Head Girl at Oasis Academy Ryelands. I always set a good example for myself and others around me and always make sure that I am behaving properly and making sure that myself and others are displaying the Nine Habits and the ICARE values every single day. The weekly newsletter will show who has been awarded the nine habits award each week. The 9 Habits make sure that we are in control of our actions and reactions. There are numerous opportunities for a student to get a leadership role within school. We believe here at Ryelands, that having an important role in the school improves a child’s confidence and gives them the necessary skills to succeed beyond schooling life. - Ramiah, Head Girl

My name is Aurelio, and I am Head Boy at Oasis Academy Ryelands. Kids love to learn here! Going to this school you will be welcomed with lots of love because we know that it can be very tricky entering a school you are unfamiliar with and when you don't know anybody. We’ll slowly get you used to the different environment and push you to be your best and let you follow your dreams that we will definitely support. We care very much about your well-being in this school, the staff will be sure to help as soon as possible and try cheer you up. What a really important, fun role is that you will have a chance to be an Academy MP, Physical health Champion, Nine Habit Champion, Mini SLT and a Well-Being Champion if you would like. Follow you dreams, learn and have fun at Oasis Academy Ryelands! - Aurelio, Head Boy
