Academy Lunches

We are a healthy eating school

At lunchtime we encourage children to have an Academy meal. These are cooked on site and are nutritionally balanced. We always offer a choice including vegetarian and Halal.

Alternatively children may bring a packed lunch. We ask parents and carers providing packed lunches to choose healthy options with a balanced selection of food including fruit and vegetables, and water. We do not permit sweets in packed lunches. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle to school each day which can be refilled at our fountains.  

Why should I register for Free School Meals if my child already receives a free lunch?

All children attending state-funded primary schools in London continue to receive a free school meal each day. However, it is still very important that parents and carers register for Free School Meals if they may be eligible.

Registering helps ensure that:

✅ Your child receives any support they are entitled to.

✅ The school can identify eligible pupils and access any additional funding and support linked to Free School Meals eligibility, including Pupil Premium where applicable.

✅ Your family can be considered for other benefits and support that may be linked to Free School Meals eligibility, such as holiday activity and food programmes and other local schemes.

✅ The school receives accurate information about the needs of its community, helping us secure resources for pupils who need them most.

Even if your child already receives a free lunch, registering can still make a difference for both your family and the school.
