Welcome to the Oasis Academy Ryelands Nursery!

Wishing you a very warm welcome from our Nursery team. Here at Oasis Academy Ryelands, we understand the importance of your child having the best start in their education, and we work hard as a family of staff to make this happen. Working in partnership with you, your child will be guided through their emotional, social and physical development preparing them for primary school, in a play-led exciting environment. 

Session times

We have 48 spaces available in our Nursery, based on 26 full time children, 8 children in the morning session and 8 in the afternoon session. Our morning sessions run from 8.30am to 11.30am, Monday to Friday and afternoon sessions run from 12.30pm to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. Our Full Time places include both sessions, running until 2.30pm with the option to extend until 3.30pm for a fee.

Allocation of preferred sessions

Parents/carers will be asked to give preferences with regards to their session options when they apply for a place. Account will be taken of any preference expressed by parents/carers, but preferences will be allocated subject to availability and are not guaranteed. If the preferred session is unavailable, the child will be offered an alternative session.

Start Dates

The children start at the academy in a small group, which enables staff to really support them to make relationships and helps them to learn the new routines and expectations with us. Many of our children start in September, but we also admit children throughout the year. We value every child for their individuality and know that each child will settle into the Academy in their own way, so we work closely together to ensure a smooth transition.

Staffing

Our Early Years Manager oversees our Nursery and Reception classes. There is a teacher and two teaching assistants in our Nursery. Find out more and meet the team today!
