Enrichment

One of our key enrichment programmes in Nursery is our Musical Bumps sessions. We welcome a Musical Bumps teacher to run weekly music lessons in Nursery to Year 2. Each year, the sessions build on previous learning and allow children to develop their love for music.

We also organise whole school enrichment days, or weeks in some cases, which are exciting ways to get our pupils interested in and inspired by the world around them. Building new skills we aim to help our children gain a better understanding of how to be in the wider world. Some examples of our most successful enrichment events are:

• Something for nothing: Recycled toys
• Minibeast hunt and bug hotel
