The Queen's Platinum Jubilee
Today we celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee marking her 70 years on the throne.
To mark this momentous occasion the children took part in a range of activities across the classes, they also enjoyed a street party style lunch outside and came to school dressed in red, white and blue, or dressed as Kings or Queens. All the children made a fantastic effort and looked great!
Some of our children wrote beautiful letters to the Queen, which are being sent off to Her Majesty to read.
Thank you to Friends of Ryelands for the money given to each class to buy resources for the day’s activities. We all had lots of fun!
