Women's Rights

This week the children have continued their learning of looking at the rights of women through our English lessons. The have continued to explore how the rights of women to vote have changed in the USA and Canada. In our equality lessons, children have been exploring the gender pay gap between men and women footballers. Did you know that across The Football Association, the mean bonus received by men in 2018 was 35.2% higher than that received by women? We are very proud of Y6 as they have really engrossed themselves with this topic and shown how passionate they are about raising awareness of the issue.
